Comments about Canon Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer with 4800 x 2400 dpi Resolution, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Interface for Mac & Windows:

Amazing quality right out of the box. It rocks right out of the box! Havent had it very long and just printed my first 4x6 on it and with its default setting on generic paper the photo looked wonderful. Havent even calibrated it properly or invested in better paper yet and it is just amazing. Would not hesitate to purchase this again!
Do yourself a favor. If you have been considering this printer even the slightest bit just buy it! you wont be disappointed.
The only 'Cons' are the large footprint and 30lbs.
opened it needs 26"x35"x17", but it is certainly worth the sacrafice

Works great easy to set up. You might need a separate table for it due to the space requirement for the front feed option.

Comments about Canon Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer with 4800 x 2400 dpi Resolution, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Interface for Mac & Windows:

I agonized for a long while over which printer/what type of printer to buy, and all I can say now is WOW! I sell my prints - framed/unframed - at Art Fairs in the NorthEast and have been using a high-end service to print everything up until now. Having total control is the way to go, even though it takes more time. Every batch would come back with a few (5 out of 50 or so) prints off in color, and while they were fine with re-printing those few, it was a drag. Not anymore. Paired up with Aperture and Canon's Semi-Gloss (just my preference - I've tried many others and all were great) I am so pleased with the results.

You do need some desk space, but it's worth it. The ink lays down on the paper like magic, the colors are spot-on and it was very easy to set-up, get the profiles going, etc. You can't go wrong here. I am VERY particular when it comes to the colors, sharpness, and texture for my images - I have watched dull prints sit in my bins, while properly adjusted images sell quickly. This printer is helping me match my vision and to sell more images. Thanks Canon! and Adorama!

I have used epsons in the past and the color management was never great, you would have to print a few test pieces before your color was right. I had the i9900 before this one and got this throught Canon's great loyality program. They have great customer service and trouble shooting event though you will not need it. Use canon only ink because off brands never are the same. I use mine all the time for last minute 11x14's for a wedding. Can easly get 13x19 paper at Adorama and Staples.

Comments about Canon Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer with 4800 x 2400 dpi Resolution, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Interface for Mac & Windows:

Beautiful prints! Ink level utility low warning comes on early, keeps printing well beyond empty cart. warning..... wait until color changes. Ink is pricey. Lots of grunts and groans before first print, then speed is good. Excellent tech help from Canon. Was considering the Pro 9500 because of rep for b&w, but am completely satisfied with 9000 for monochrome. I'm going to try aftermarket ink refills..... wish me luck.

Comments about Canon Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer with 4800 x 2400 dpi Resolution, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Interface for Mac & Windows:

I use this Printer strictly for printing Photos. The printing quality is Excelent and very easy to set up and operate. The prints are as good if not better than the Lab prints. I havn't had it long enough to know how long the ink will last. But when I check the remaining ink, it's not too bad so far. It is not a small printer and not really a big printer, but the quality is what counts. The 13" x 19" boarderless prints are great.

Very easy setup and produces very high quality photos up to 13" by 19". No complaints at all. It is a large fotprint but that is really not an issue. I use it with the Photoshop plug-in and it is very well done.

I needed to print my wildlife photos big, and I needed to do it myself rather than farm it out. I've used Canon printers for over 20 years! This 9000 MK II is the best yet. The 13 x 19 borderless prints are wonderful. This weekend I framed a 13 x 19 of a Bullock's Oriole, and it is the best....period. These big, beautiful prints will sell for me. Thank You Canon.......again.

Comments about Canon Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer with 4800 x 2400 dpi Resolution, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Interface for Mac & Windows:

Too bad the ink cartridges are so expensive. Also, if you use standard paper to check the composition, the color is vastly different than the product on photo paper.
