This is my second Kingston card reader I purchased-one for home, one for work. It is lightweight (good for travel) reliable, easy to use and reads a variety of media card types. Easy to work-plug into USB port and it is ready to go!
I have tried other card readers with varying levels of ease and success. This one, so far, is my favorite. It is very well priced.

I looked at *every single* USB card reader on the Adorama site before deciding that this one had the best price/performance ratio. I was not disappointed.
I use the reader with PQI class 6 SDHC cards and Sandisk Extreme III (30mb/s) CF cards.
The reader is super fast and problem-free.
I like the small size, the built-in short USB plug and the included USB extension cable.
I have read that some brands of card readers seem to have sticky/tight SD slots. The Kingston does not have this problem. The SD and CF slots (the only two I've tested) are a perfect fit for the cards -not too loose, not too tight.
If you're looking for a small, portable USB reader, look no further than the Kingston.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 19-in-1 Memory Card Reader:
I bought this card reader initially for my SDcards due to faulty camera chords. So far I've had no problems with extracting files, or getting the cards to read. The design seems sturdy and I appreciate that it has the ability to neatly tuck all aspects in, the cards, and the chord. it gives me less clutter. The only issue I had, is that when you do plug it in, all the different drive slots read but don't differentiate as to what drive they are. All you get is Drive E, Drive F, Drive G, Drive H , Drive I, etc etc. This is a problem I've seen mainly with the SD and micro SD. They some times pop up as drive E, F, or G.. then you have to guess which one it is as it varies on the computers I've tested it on. But usually one can make an educated guess.

This is a USB 2.0 media reader that accepts most cards. I just keep it in my camera bag when traveling & it accepts everything from my CF cards to my cell phones Memory Stick M2. Highly recommended

works great as i only need to carry this one reader instead of trying to keep up and carry numerous. also works great as not all printers or computers have the sdhd ports.

Works well. Trivially easy setup. I haven't done a side by side comparison vs. other card readers, but subjectively it feels much, much faster than other USB card readers. This makes sense because the real speed of a USB card reader has very little to do with the spec and a lot to do with how it's implemented - not all USB 2.0 readers are alike. Kingston seems to have done a good job here. Also, it's really cheap.

This little gadget cost around fifteen dollars, and seems to accept any sort of card I am likely to use. So far I have just used it for a 2.0 GB SD card, but it has nine different types listed on tiny print near the slots, and its innards can be scooted forward for easy access and backwards to prevent damage to the cards. It plugs int my SD port and made it possible to download all the pictures from my Kodak Easyshare Camera, which didn't want to share all that easily.
It's a lightweight plastic gizmo that takes up a 3.5 X 4.5" space on the desk, and would be fine to take along to use with a laptop.
