Out of the box it worked, but the print quality is less than desirable, especially for any prints with graphics or pictures. Within 1 week the page prints had streaks; blue & yellow. Spent $200 on new print cartridges and the problem almost went away, but not entirely. Within 2 months, the fuser roller began depositing black streaks down the middle of the page. [...]

This printer powers down into a static mode as if turned off...however, if you send another print job to it you'll discover that it powers up quickly and does the print job. I've been very satisfied so far with this product.

Do not use the printer too much but when I do it prints perfect. Toner does not seem to be too expensive, around [$] for all colors.

Works well so far. The black starter toner didn't last very long; maybe 300 pages. New black toner was around $65 on Adorama. We have not had to replace the starter toner cartridges yet. Got it on sale for [$], and for that price, it's a can't miss.

Very pleased with this surprisingly nice printer. Laser print on plain paper can't compare to high-res inkjet on photo paper for photographs, but it's perfectly acceptable, and I've even framed a print. Not too loud and reasonably fast for my purposes - daily full-color prints of my products to include in with customer shipments. Manual says it "can't be shared" but I'm sharing it between XP machines with no problems so far. Color for the price of a monochrome - hard to beat.

Our old printer had run like a tank for 9 years and we were concerned it might fail, so we just wanted an inexpensive back-up. The old Xerox printer is now our back-up (letting it rest in its old age!) and the Konica is our primary printer.This Konica Minolta is doing the job fabulously. I wish the toner cartridges that come with it had more than 500 page output, but for the price I shouldn't complain. A full set of replacement cartridges will cost about $350, so be prepared for that.Even though the Konica printer is not technically "network ready", we were able to connect it to the network through our Customer Service PC so other computers can print to it. It does this well, except for my Apple Mac which I can't get the Mac to print through the PC printer functions.But overall, the printer produces above average quality prints and is doing what we need.[...] Adorama always delivers great value on the best products out there. This does a nice job for power point and related type of print jobs. I've used it for putting together memory books using color laser paper and it provides a nice end product. My only complaint was that it took me awhile to figure out why it wouldn't print the higher resolution photos. Until you change the printer option from 1200x600 to 600x600 it would just give you an error. But once you make that change in the printer options, it printed everything without any problem. Also, mine didn't come with Windows 7 drivers, so I had to update that right away. Overall, this is a great printer for a very reasonable price.

We print flyers and other sales materials for our small business, along with the mundane invoices etc. This (so far) has been a great little printer. We were using it just minutes out of the box.
It will surprise you how fast to print your first sheet, even from a cold start.
As typical not much toner in the starters, but that's to be expected. So far we have never gotten close to the advertised number of pages per toner, but we haven't on any other printer either.
If you need a color laser printer and are on a small budget this is the one.

Great Printer for everyday use. I use this to print text mostly and it does that well has awesome b&w tone. The color is not anything to brag about tonal range is limited, but this isn't really a printer for pictures in my opinion.

This is a great buy. This machine is the same price of most B/W laser printer. I replaced my old HP Inkjet printer with this. I used to get about a month ink out the unit. Printed about 200 pages a month. Now Im on my 6th month and still haven't replaced not one toner. Such a pleasure.

I purchased this printer to produce high quality documents that contain pictures, graphics, and text. It has outperformed my previous color laser and the quality is better than my ink jet printers. I am pleased with the time it takes to warm up and spit out the first page (under 15 seconds average). I use it with both my MacBook Pro and my Windows 7 machines over an airport express shared printer using Bonjour, and don't have any problems. I used the Konica magicolor 1680MF printer driver for the mac. Overall this is a superb printer for the price. You can find better for more money, but this is the best bang for the buck that I found.
