Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
What I didn't realize before purchasing this memory card is that, since it's a 'HC', (high capacity) card, it can't be read by most multi-card readers. Thus, you need to invest in a new, high capacity card reader or rely upon transferring vis USB connection.
Not a deal breaker but would have been good to know prior to making my purchase.
