Noticeably slower write speed than my Lexar Pro 300x. I'm only going to use it as a back up.

Offers an improvement over lower speed cards.
Most cameras don't need this speed, but if you have a specialty device that needs a reliable and fast card, it's worth the fact that it costs more.

I use this in my Canon 5D Mark II and it holds a ton of shots and video without filling up. I'd recommend it to anyone.
