It works, it was cheap (after rebate) and it's fast, very fast (nikon D300), what more can I ask from a memory card?

Have quite a few 2 gb and 4 gb CF cards I use and only one is not a Lexar. Still find myself filling them up too fast, so I took the plunge and bought an 8 gb card. It writes fast and, so far, like all my Lexar cards, has been dependable. With memory prices always coming down, I'll add at least one more to my bag.

I'm a professional event photographer that requires reliable burst speeds as well as fast data transfer. When coupled with Lexar's FW800 UMDA card readers, stacked... they are an unbeatable combination.

I've found these cards to be an outstanding deal for the money. No rebate required in order to get the best price. Also, the compatible reader from Lexar is cheaper than other readers from other brands.

I'm using it on my Nikon D300 and before this card I was using a Sandisk 4GB Ultra 2.
I may say that there is a short advantage for the Lexar UDMA on camera usage but transferring the files to my MacBook Pro... that surely amazed me.
Hope others enjoy this product. Good Luck.

The Lunar Eclipse was the first time using this card and it was -39 Celceus, the cold was biting my skin. I was shooting with my D2XS and F4-600. The cards capability to capture as fast as I shoot was unparalled to any other CompactFlash card I've used. Excellent card Lexar.

We use this product in Canon 20D and 5D respectively. Extremely reliable and fast.
Might something like this but with more capacity replace Mini DV, HD-DV and Mini CD recording media in the future? Say 16GB x2 in a Camcorder, amateur or pro= 32GB HDD, no? No moving parts, wheels, sprockets, belts... Battery will also last longer... I'm sayin'...
Unfortunately however, the bundled Image Recovery v3.0 software that comes with the CF card is totally useless. V2.0 was infinitely better.

I use this card with my Canon SLR and I love it. The image write times are fast, and the card is reliable. The absolute best feature is when you combine this card with the Firewire 800 reader, the transfer rate from the card to computer is incredibly fast! You can also 'daisy chain' multiple readers for fast parallel transfers from multiple cards.
