I've used this card to shoot 30 pictures and lost every one.Tried again it worked ,then it stoped working.Returned it to Lexar for the life time warranty that's when my trouble started.First they said they never got it in the mail. After proving they had it ,they suddenly found it.That was 05/1708 now 08/05/08 They said it was out of stock and assured me it would ship the end of last week.So far I haven't got it or heard from them.Very poor customer service .Lexar is suppose to be a fine product but after this I would not recommend their brand of card .
I've always trusted Lexar memory and this unit did not let me down.
This Lexar pro 4GB Card works well with my Nikon D80 Camera. The SDHC reader that was included with the card works perfectly. Over the last 3 years I have used several Lexar pro SD memory cards (2GB) with my camera. I have never had a problem with any of them.
The write time on this memory card is noticeably faster than others that are only slightly cheaper. I should have bought two of them.
Lexar is the only card I use, both SD & CompactFlash. Why? - dependability & quality, and reasonably priced.
Good product at a good price
ADORAMA HAS A GREAT PRICE..LEXAR IS THE BEST! FAST, DEPENDABLE AND THE IMAGE RESCUE SOFTWARE WORKS..SHOULD YOU HAVE THE NEED!
Very fast and comes with reader.
I've been a SANDISK user forever. Decided to try Lexar for a change - see if their price was justified.
Bought the 4Gb SD even when it was more expensive than the similar Sandisk product. Took about 50 pictures on my Nikon D80. Removed the card, tried to read it on an SDHC USB reader connected to my Vista Ultimate machine - no deal. Tried with two more external USB readers, on Windows XP Pro SP2 and OpenSUSE Linux. None was able to read it, card was dead.
Had to call Lexar for a RMA number. Lexar replaced it, no question asked, in a week.
In any case: I lost 50 good pictures after using the card for about 4 hours. Will never buy Lexar again.
This is working wonderfully in my Nikon D80. Very pleased that mine came with a USB card reader free of charge. Also, there was free coupon for a download of ImageRescue 3. This is Mac or PC software to retrieve deleted photos from the card. What a bonus!!!
