I am hooked on SanDisk's CF memory cards since I purchased one 4GB Ultra II in 2003 and managed to put it through the wash in my first week of ownership. I still have that one and it still works.
I currently have three Ducati 4GB CF memory cards that I use with my Nikon D300.
There is really nothing to be said about these memory cards ....except that they keep on working.

Ducati CF cards are rated as fastest in just about every current-gen DSLR. My experience in Canon 50D and 40D bears this out...fast, so your buffer gets free sooner, and writing data to computer is very fast. They are usually very expensive, but the sale price on the 4GB was good enough to get me to get one, altho the limited capacity means I'll use it typically only for times I'll need to shoot extended bursts. (Looking forward to an 8GB Ducati when price drops on that.) Currently I do have several Transcend 8GB for everyday use.
