Great speed and everything that the product advertises. No regrets except that I should have gotten at least a 16 GB for my T2i because the video really tears through it fast. If you just do stills then it is fine.

This SDHC card has the capacity I want, and more than I will probably need when shooting stills and/or videos with my DSLR. It's 3MB/Second write speed means that it can keep up with my camera when shooting three frames per second.

After using a variety of other cards, came back to the sandisk Class 10 SHDC with a confirmatinon - this is the solid one for an photographer who prefers reliability and speed.

I prefer to keep splits of 8 GBs as it helps in quicker file access (in comparison to 16GB or 32 GB) and for event photography it helps when we have more than one card.

The card is fast even with high end, fast DSLRs. I was using a sandisk class 10 SHDC card for a bit long time now, and never for once it had failed me- used with bad weathers including snow, intense cold & rains, and no issues yet.

While recording HD video we will really know the advantage of the card; My DSLR used to give buffering message with other class 10 brands, but with Sandisk I've never seen that. Records smoothly and instantly completes saving. With high fps shooting the images are saved without delays - keeps in pace with DSLR's speed very well.

The deal of 2 cards as a combo was really good.

Overall this is the best reliable card for any one who loves their photos. Recommend the purchase highly.

I do notice the increased processing speed when in the field. I have not run it through the ringer enough to justify its much higher pricetag.

I use this card in My Canon T2i for taking stills and High Definition video. The SanDisk Extreme 8GB Class 10 card writes and reads fast and reliably. No errors, glitches, or stuttering. This is a great memory card and a great value.

Buy class 10 cards for any camera shooting with large pixel resolution or when shootng in RAW and JPEG combined format (or class 6 minimum). Don't bother with the cheapo class 2 or the class 4 that are labeled "high speed" you will be disappointed if you are using a high quality DSLR and want to shoot fast multiple images(purely my opinion from past experience;theles expensive ones work fine for single shots). If you have a "point and shoot" or cell phone camera; buy the cheapest ones you can because it doesn't matter, they will work just fine.

Compared to my other memory cards, this one blows them out of the water. I love the 30 MB/s read and write speed, it allows for very fast upload and download speeds both on my camera and my computer. Well worth the investment!

I just purchased a Canon Rebel T2i and wanted a large, dependable, fast card for it. I chose this one and was not disapointed. It's a little pricey but in my opinion well worth it.

Very fast, I no longer have to wait for my camera to catch up. I've also noticed an improvement in download times from camera. Haven't tried it with a card reader yet but should be even quicker. A bit pricy compared to slower media but well worth it.

This card works great. If you're shooting JPEGs in the Large Fine setting, you'll have more than enough space on this card. If shooting RAW and want complete assurance of not having to change a card during a shoot, get the 16GB model. It's only slightly more in cost but double the memory. Either way it's a great product. The faster cards also work better in rendering the preview while viewing pictures in the camera.

As always it depends on how you intend to use the card. I download to the PC after most every shoot. So 8gb is plenty of space for me. I bought this card for use with the Rebel T1i which it handles great for stills and most short movies. Because the T1i shoots mov files at 720p and 1080p I would not want to use a card that was any smaller or slower. This one has kept up fine so far.

My understanding of the speed ratings: Class 10 transfers AT LEAST 30 MB/second. This card is a very fast Class 6 card which can transfer UP TO 30 MB/second.

This difference is significant if used for HD video.

I own (2) of this model card along with (2) Extreme IV compact cards with my Canon 1D Mark III. I shoot thousands of images per year of Grand National Motorcycle Races, Unlimited Hydro Plane Boats, Air Races, Soccer, etc., which are highly demanding of write-to-card speed and reliable storage. To date with the (4) SanDisk Cards I have never lost a single image Raw or Jpeg.

SanDisk Memory has been stellar in every way possible. The writing time within the camera and transfers to the computer is fast and smooth. I do not have a single complaint about the product.

I often take as many as 300 photos a day when traveling since I know it is unlikely I will get back. (Too many places to see). The 8GB means few chips to swap around and the 30MB write time means fast response time for the next photo. ScanDisk is a reliable product and it is all I use. So I expect to get much use from this set. And right now the rebate is quite good.

No cons so far.

I purchased this SD card for my Nikon D90. At RAW settings the card is not capable of recording data fast enough in order to keep the buffer available for more shots.

If I set the quality to JPEG and low or normal then I can take advantage of almost unlimited shots with my buffer always ready for the next picture.

Works well and keeps up at multiple (4/sec jpeg's at super fine mode) shots per second as well as with HD movies. Hard to quantify write speed, but this memory does not seem to have any limitations when used with my Canon SX1 IS. Time will tell relative to ScanDisk's wear levelling scheme and MTBF, but for now this memory is working well. PS: I am looking forward to the next round of flash price reductions!

Use this product to capture images. It's reliable compared to its competitors. Very sturdy and easy to use. The recovery software helps when you accidently delete images. I have now used only this brand.

This card is fast enough not to slow down my Canon Xsi in rapid fire sport mode. A string of 15 shots at full resolution did not phase the system. Grandchildren at a socker meet generate once in a lifetime oportunities that come in spurts of pictures, then nothing for a few minutes. I will buy more of this media during the summer.

Note that there are 2 different class 6 Extreme III SDHC cards sold at 2 different prices:
1) black label
2) red label (marked 30MB), about $20 more

I wasn't sure if there would be a measurable difference between the 2 cards on my Canon XSi, but I decided to go with the 30MB card to be on the safe side. It's possible that the black card might work as well, I just don't know.

The card works great for me.

My old card was an 8GB class 6 card. I am using a Nikon D90. I bought this card so that I could shoot at 4.5fps for longer. It does make a difference, but not that much of one. Once the buffer on my camera fills up, my high speed shooting is over until the buffer can empty. Obviously this card helps the buffer empty faster, but it won't let me start shooting again until it is too late. If you are shooting at high speed because if you don't then you will lose your shot, then you will lose your shot your buffer fills up, even with this card.

Most of this would probably change from camera to camera. The card is good, but I haven't done any benchmarks to see if it really lives up to what it claims.
