I take pictures of everything, almost every time I go outside. Needed something that would hold a lot of pictures and video. I have used other Sandisk media and have always been satisfied with the product. This little card holds tons of pictures and still has room for video. Adorama had it on sale for a good price and also offered a Sandisk rebate. Works for me.

This SanDisk card is fine for my Pentax digitals. I keep several on hand for extended use in the field. 8-16 GB is currently the standard size for them, as far as I can tell.

Like all flash memory, these eventually will fail. I shoot in RAW and transfer the files to an external drive as quickly as possible. The small size makes good storage habits essential.

It is a great card and Sandisk is a reliable company. I hate the rebates. It takes forever and with all the hoops to jump through, I'm not sure it's worth the hype and effort to get the better product with rebate virs the lower priced product with no rebate.

I gave the 8gb San Disk memory card to my 16 year-old grandson as a Christmas present. I asked him for his opinion and this is what he said: "It is very fast when you transfer pictures from the disk to the computer. My brother has another brand and my San Disk works much better and faster." THe comments checked above are his comments.

I have tried many different makes of memory card, but I find Sandisk to be the faster, more reliable. This 8GB card is ideal for use in the Nikon P6000.
Not much you can rave about with memory cards - they are not fun, or exciting, no bells or whistles - But - if it reliably does what it says it should do, time and time again, and with speed and ease then buy it!
