My husband and I use the Extreme III to shoot everything. We first used it to shoot a wedding, because we shoot all weddings in RAW and the memory card holds over 250 RAW images! It is faster than any memory card we have ever used and we currently will not shoot with anything else.

Card is pretty fast. Although I didn't notice that much difference on my D90. I don't shoot much burst RAW. I plan to shoot more videos in the future so I think the fast read/write speed will help.[...]

I bought one of these cards a couple of months ago and was very happy with it. Lag between pictures is minimal and as always, Sandisk products are very reliable. I just purchased 3 more for my Alaskan cruise at the end of the month.

These cards are amazing. They do what they claim and don't sputter like other cards once they approach their full capacity. It's nice to hear my D40x reach it's full potential of 100 shots at 3fps without stopping or slowing down. There are other cards that claim they're class 6, but these are the only ones I've used that actually keep up with my cameras' demands. An amazing product and Adorama has them at fantastic prices (especially with the current cash-back rebates).

I am currently building a photo journal of my cancer journey and find the SD Extreme III 4GB far superior to other memory cards. Downloading video from my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 is fast and imaging is absolutely superb. Despite the extra cost. ScanDisk will be my SD card of choice for all future applications.

Love the product but if you plan on even buying one of these and getting a Rebate that SanDisk is promoting....GOOD LUCK ! Makes you feel like you have been scammed everytime, suckered in to buy the item and never recieve any of the Rebates you send in. So do not plan on getting your Rebate!

I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon D70, about 5 years ago. I researched media cards and decided on SanDisk. Well 5 years and 3 Nikon DSLR cameras later I now have 6 SanDisk cards. The 4GB Extreme III class 6 being the newest. I was always happy with the read and write speeds of my cards but I was absolutely shocked at the speed of the new class 6 SDHC Sandisk Extreme III... I downloaded and imported 300 pictures into my MacBook (iPhoto) in under 3 minutes, thats from card reader insertion until card reader removal... Superfast.... My earlier cards were Ultra and Extreme models so they were "fast" cards but they didn't prepare me for the lightning speed of the new class 6 cards. My new D90 (Adorama purchase) never slows down on JPEG large-fine.. I have never had any kind of problem with any of My Sandisk products including 2 card readers. Sandisk and Adorama are the only names I will recommend to anyone seeking camera purchasing info... I have had long term, satisfying relationships with them both...

Bought this card for the Canon SX 10 IS. This card has no lag in storing photos and uploads super fast to PC. When clearing card even when full only takes a few seconds. This card was worth every penny! I wouldn't buy any other card!

Camera buffer unloads quickly. Card reader uploads quickly. As far as I know, there is no SDHC card on the market that is faster. I bought 3 of these from Adorama and with the Sandisk rebate, they are an incredible value.
