Zipped right through the installation. I will use this product often, mostly for copying. I love the toolbar, everything is right there. Only one cord to deal with.
To use in W2K, do this.

For those of you having problems getting this scanner to work in W2K...do this. Got into Control Panel, then Administrative Tools, then Services....scroll down the in services and make sure the "Still Image Service" is started...change the setting to AUTO.
A recent W2K update reset this services preventing many Cannon Scanners from working.
