Paid "[$]" for software that won't launch... Good luck actually talking to a human with this company.. SUPPORT IS JUNK ... they keep asking me to buy more software and the stuff I bought won't work....

The Nikon 5000 is one of the more sophisticated film scanners. The SilverFast software is a very potential addon, especially because Nikon's own software isn't supported by Nikon anymore. The perfect tool for getting perfect results, the IT8 calibration ensures true colors.

When it comes to batch scanning greater collections of slides SilverFast is very handy if you also own the additional slide feeder.
