Performance was a bit spotty when I first started to archive images with the Burnaway. Sometimes it would work & sometimes it just wouldn't. [...]. It was determined that my unit was defective, so it was replaced promptly. Now the only objections I have is that I would like it to burn faster (takes half an hour to an hour to burn a Gig) and it doesn't like my CF microdrive (which I use seldom). Burn time isn't a problem unless I'm backing up several cards at once, which I don't do often. I like the fact the the unit leaves the burn session open, so I can add to a CD or DVD at a later date.

It's a reliable, easy DVD burner for RAW files as well as JPEG and TIFF.

I especially like use this to give extra copies of photo - right tehn. Last summer we had a three day family reunion. At the end of the picnic on Sunday I just sat down on a bench and made copies for each of the family members.
Also very handy for backing up on long trips.
