Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
My favorite album for trips and a perfect gift for a bride and groom. Many friends have used them for their honeymoon shots. The 100-view album forces me to edit my choices to just those hundred the mean the most to me and tell the story best. Not good for a scrapbooker as there is nowhere to put captions and such. I normally include a sheet with the narrative in the front of the album. And it can be difficult to slide the pictures into the back side of the page once the front side is filled, but that is minor.
