While most people prefer to place family photos in albums, I chose to remove 35 years of my photos from albums to make individual photo boxes for each of my 2 children and 4 grandchildren. In each box is a selection of maternal & paternal ancestry photos, a copy of all of my school photos and [for the grandchildren] a copy of their parent's & aunt/uncle's school pictures.

I keep each box current by adding recent photos. Each photo is stored in 4x6 glassine or 4x5 plastine envelopes to help maintain the integrity of each photo.

I am extremely satisfied with the 4x5 plastine envelopes that I used for all my decades-old photos.
