AS I sort through my thousands of slides I found I needed more storage. This satisfies the need quite well for me.

My Dad had slightly over 3000 slides stored in 22 of the Kodak carousels. In an effort to save space, I found the FSBSM35JR storage boxes at Adorama. [...]Based on the online information, I purchased 3 of the 1,080 slide boxes. These each came with 6 divider boxes inside. Based on the 1,080, each divider box should hold about 180 slides. I am actually getting 235 slides into each without a problem- or about 1,400 slides per FSBSM35JR. While it sounds like a good thing, in actuality, it means I bought an extra box that I didn't need - I could've purchased 2 of the FSBSM35JR boxes and one of the smaller (180/360 slide count) boxes and saved money AND space (my original intent). I sorted about 1,000 slides that were in a jumbled box in my father-in-law's closet. The 6 storage boxes were just the right size, and the adjustable end-stops and paper seprators included were just perfect to organize the collection in a way that makes it easy to access. The solid construction gives me confidence the slides will be well protected for a long time. Expensive for a set of boxes, but well worth it. The Junior size is well suited to personal storage.
