I was afraid that since it was $50-$100 less than any other 11x14 easel I could find that it would be cheaply made.
In fact, it's perfect for me. It holds the paper firmly and and it does what I need it to do.
I wish my enlarger base were bigger since I had to ghetto-struct* a larger length for it to allow maximum print size.
It's not as heavy as I would expect, which may or may not turn out to be a good thing. When moving the adjustable blades, you can feel some sticking, so it's not the smoothest easel to operate.
*Ghetto-struct: (verb) to build or form by putting together parts by unconventional and usually much cheaper means than the norm.
