Comments about Ilford Ilford PAN F Plus Ultra-Fine Grain Black and White Film, ISO 50, 120 Size:

Just hands-down the best B&W film available; the only thing that I've ever seen come remotely close is specially processed tech-pan (now unavailable). If you're shooting B&W, don't bother with anything else.

I'd especially recommend this film to beginners so they can see what film's really capable of. Chromogenic stuff like you get in the drugstore just doesn't come close.

Comments about Ilford Ilford PAN F Plus Ultra-Fine Grain Black and White Film, ISO 50, 120 Size:

This is the perfect film for my RB67. Slow film + big negative = crisp, CRISP detail on GIANT prints. Great for still life and seascapes. I use Kodak regularly but when I want an ISO 50 film the first thing that comes to mind is Ilford. A great product.

This film not only blows away all others, but makes you wonder why anyone wastes time with digital B&W.
