This is a great film for capturing your subject in little or no light. On stage with just the stage lighting I hardly need to use my flash

I used this film to photograph both my kid's college graduations. Both ceremonies took place indoors under normal auditorium lighting conditions and with outside shots with all the family.

The film handled both situations extremely well. I hadn't shot 1600 film for a while, so I was well pleased with the grain structure as fine as it was in the prints. The color balance was better than the Kodak film that I also used.

Since I began using Fuji Superia Color Film, 1600, I haven't done anything but IMPROVE THE QUALITY, CLARITY, PRECISE, INTENSE moments of my shooting sports, travel, etc. My cameras are Canon Elan IIE, and Canon Elan 7E, both SLR cameras.

This film develops in the processing labs so well (since I don't have equipment to do that myself), the clarity, intense moments, precise-ness of the action, etc. is just beyond what I had ever expected in this film. Nothing could produce such great images BEFORE I used this film, and I don't expect anything will ever pro-duce such great images SINCE I've been using this film...this is a S P E C T A C U L A R film...I don't feel it can ever be replaced for great shots! You won't go wrong with it.

I originally purchased 1600 speed film just to experiment with. Since then I have relied on it to capture my children in all of their sporting events. You can't beat the clarity, even on the dark fields. The slower films tend to be grainy but not 1600. When other parents had to stop taking pictures because the sun went down, I was still at it capturing all the key plays. In the end I was approached on numerous ocassions to supply pictures for year end banquets. I would recommend this film for anyone taking pictures in low light conditions or anytime that extra speed was needed to clarify a fast moving object.
