This film is one of the best ISO400 print films I've ever used. This film is reputed to be a great wedding film, and that reputation is definitely not undeserved.
If you're looking for a film that'll perform well in low light without going uber grainy on you, this is it. Even on the shots where I slightly overexposed it (a stop to a stop and a half), it was quite forgiving (no blown out highlights, no unusable film grains)...
The film is designed to reproduce skin tones especially well, and that's what it's best suited to do.

This is one of my favorite 400 ISO films. I used Superia 400 for a while when I first started teaching myself photography, and this was the first "pro" film I upgraded to. Colors burst forth from the frame with this film. The grain is finer than Superia, and I have never seen it have a color shift when exposed fairly correctly. What I love most about this film is that I can shoot this even when I think the exposure settings are very wrong, and the 400H survives it and produces a beautiful photograph. I use many different films, but people always rave about the ones I shoot with 400H. I have used it for flowers and other plants, museums, urban areas, animals, etc. It is really great for low to mid light still life work.

Fuji pioneered four color layer technology, giving NPH superb handling of mixed lighting situations. Its low contrast and wide exposure latitude favors scanning. (It is easier to increase contrast & saturation in post-production than reduce them). Despite the convenience of digital capture, I continue to favor film for its rendition of subtle tonality and the "bokeh" inherent to film grainularity.

Good fast film. I've used it for travel shots and some people shooting. Good grain and pretty fast. Very consistent.

I was a KODAK fan all the way but I needed a 1600 film and KODAK didn't have it so I tried FUJI and was very impressed. So much so I just did a wedding with fuji and was very pleased with the outcome as was the bride.

I enjoy working with Pro Fuji film - the lab that i use knows the film and knows what chemicals to use with it. The Pro-H400 colours are bright and with this it gives life to the photo's and this is what i want when i give clients back their family/wedding photo's. I wouldn't use anything else except NPC 160. I did Kodak 400 for 3 weddings and absolutely hated it - the photo's didn't have the same bright colours and life in the photo's.
