Comments about Kodak Kodak Portra 160VC Color Negative Film ISO 160, 35mm Size, 36 Exposure, *USA*:
I do like vivid, saturated colors, and this film lives up to its VC label. I have also used 400VC, and this films makes a nice compliment because of it's slower ISO. It's not as slow as Ektar 100, though, so you get a little more play with it for low to mid-level light. I think it's great for zoos, gardens, museums, outdoors, still life, etc. where you want rich color, fine grain, and a little bit extra contrast. Details with this film are also crisp.

Beautiful film, it is difficult or impossible to find good film anymore. Hopefully Kodak will not totally abandon what they built their empire on by continuing to provide excellent film and Qualex processing. when these are gone, i will bury my Hasselblads and Nikons in a landfill and give up.
