I am accustomed to Fuji Provia 100 for its high-grain quality.

Alas,... for action shots near sunset (when the good light happens), Provia 100 is NOT fast enough. I need a fast, high-grain equivilent within my accustomed expectations.

I have read reviews, expert opinions, pro opinions, and one pro who did comparisons with upper-end digital cameras, who concluded that Fuji Provia 400F was the best color transparency film ever.

I now believe this pro, along with all the other reviews.

I bought a roll of Provia 400F, tried it, and felt really good about it.

I will use it again as my PREFERED FILM in action photography, where the speed limits and apertures allow. I do not know of a better 400-speed transparency film than Fuji Provia 400F. I would not buy any other kind.

This film boasts pleasing contrast with fine grain (for ASA 400) and naturally-saturated colors. Very sharp and has great clarity.

When photographing a play, it rendered pleasing contrast, excellent detail, natural colors, high sharpness, and lots of clarity. Very consistent and reliable.
