Velvia 50 is FANTASTIC. This is my go to slide film for travel, landscape etc... Cannot recommend this enough.

Absolutely the best for high color. TODAY digital doesn't match. I used Velvia for years and then went digital for the last 10-15 years. Now I am going back to film. Velvia for color!!!

This is an excellent film for nature, landscape, and travel photography. The only drawbacks are film speed, but that's workable and a slight pink tinge on some skin tones. However, I would use Fuji Superia for pictures of people. Velvia 50 has great saturated colours.

As the successor to Kodachrome 25 for fine work the lack of reciprocity adjustments makes it more economical as bracketing is much less of an issue. I just hope that digital technology doesn't make film obsolete.

With Kodachrome going away, this is probably the next best thing. In some ways, it may actually be better! Vivid, saturated but accurate color (not so hot for skin tones, though). It has the crystal clarity that we love in transparencies.

I get consistent results from this product time and time again. It really works in situations where contrast and color saturation is lacking to begin with and the low ISO lends itself to smooth images.

This is the best possible film for shooting everything except people. Velvia is not good for skin tones (use Kodachrome or Astia), but it's great for everything else. If you need an extra stop of speed, get the almost-as-good ISO 100 version.

This and Kodachrome are your best choices for high quality photography, giving the nod, however to Kodachrome if you have people in the frame and you need perfect skin tone reproduction.
But if travel and nature pics are your preference, this film will definately provide outstanding results.
