since Polaroid has stopped making it, my review doesn't count for much. I would like to see some enterprising company pick it up, it's a unique product for a growing niche market...alternative process photographers

No Technical information was available on the box.
My 4x5 Polaroid holder which worked beautifully with some old type 54, would not release the 55 film. I was on a job and was very thankful to have the out of date 54 with me. I threw away the box of 55.
Very expensive experiment.

I am using type 55 with a Speed Graphic and I am really happy with the results. With a calibrated rangefinder and a well timed shutter, its like using an oversized 35mm... a REALLY oversized 35. Just leave the holder in the camera and dont process the images until your done shooting for the day. (you can cheat and pull a few to make sure that the "sunny 16" hasnt changed, but you run the risk of ruining a good frame) All in all, I love being able to have the neg for the polaroid that everyone loves.
