This product is great for those of us who are either on a budget or are just starting out (or in my case, getting back in) in the black and white photography world.

I've found this product worked great in a varying temperatures as I don't have my own climate controlled dark room, but be sure to check with what your film manufacturer says about development times.

Speaking of development, this product is the chemical equivalent to D76 at 1:1 when mixed according to the bottles instructions. So keep that in mind when looking at dev. charts and curve graphs.

I personally use this on Fuji Acros 100, both 120 and 35mm and find that it gives consistent results every time...even if I'm not.

I have for years been trying to do a FREE class to younger students to open their eyes to the world opf photography as both an art and a science. I have tried for wuite a while to work through the history and set up a dark room so students could see the "way it used to be". In recent years it's not easy to find quality products that work easily. This prodcut fits the bill and has enabled me, on my limited budget to demonstrate photography before the digital age.
