This is inexpensive enough to be a standard piece of equipment in every camera bag. With the newer generation lenses with plastic filter threads it is important to have the right tool to remove a stuck filter without the chance of breaking the filter mount.

Not much to say - it's a simple piece of plastic that's handy in a pinch. I could not budge my filter with my fingers and I figured I'd try this before resorting to something more drastic and potentially damaging. Half a second and it was done. Easy peasy.

Just be sure to do it over something soft in case the filter decides to take flight.

They worked for me to remove a misaligned filter from a lens. It was on so tight and I had already tried every possible solution that I read about online.

They are just skimpy pieces of plastic, and one piece of the set flew across the room when the filter finally came loose--but who cares! They only cost a few bucks and are invaluable when needed. I would recommend that anyone who uses filters have one on hand rather than waiting until an emergency situation.

I keep one in the digital bag, one in the film bag and a spare - gave one to my photography instructor from college and he loved it!
It really works, since I had a UV filter that was "stuck" on a lens. Just a little effort and it was off.
The only real con was the grips can be a little hard on the hand. Solved that with a little tape.

My lens filter was really stuck so I ordered these lens wrenches to try and get it off. Even with these wrences I still couldn't get it off, they were just not substantial enough. I finally got it off using a large adjustable Cresent wrench. They seem to be a good idea, however, and I keep them handy in my camera bag.

Nothing special here, it's a filter remove that works by evenly applying pressures around the filter. I've not had to use this on my filters yet, I purchased this as a precautionary measure. I've had a couple buddies that had their filters seemingly glued in spot, and this worked wonders for them. For the price, you really can't say it's not worth having. At a couple inches long and weighing close to nothing it slides in my bag without a problem.

Changing filters are easy when using this tool. I have a rotating polarized filter, and once it's on, it's impossible to remove. This tool solves that problem.

We've all jammed a couple filters together too tightly a time or two. This makes fast work of the problem, weighs nothing, didn't cost much... a win all around.

These are extremely handy to have. If you stack filters, or have a step-up ring on your lense, these are the best thing to use when you don't know your own strength.

I haven't found a thing to complain about. They are small, lightweight, and sturdy enough for the tightest seal.

So simple and easy to use. I wish I had these in my bag years ago! They work so well and are easy on your lenses and filters. Ever try to get a polarizing filter off your lens after hours of use?
