This step-up ring works, but screwing it onto a lens is tricky. It doesn't screw on as smooth as the filters I have, and actually sticks before it's all the way on. Taking it off, I feel I have to be very careful not to bend the ring, the metal feels flimsy. But in the end, it does what I need it to.

It's a step up ring so I don't expect much except that - you know - it steps up. Good construction, good price. If you need a step-up - then it's a good deal.

The ring that was sent to me was not even close the right size. It's also very cheaply constructed, but I didn't expect much for the price. However, I DID expect it to fit my lens!
I triple checked my order and the side of the ring even reads 72-77mm. The outside was 77 but the inside thread was about 66-68mm.

I went to a local shop and they seem to think these things get sent out b/c they assume it's too inexpensive for people to bother returning. Which is true--I don't have the time to bother returning it (albeit I AM disappointed enough in Adorama to write this review!)

Don't waste your money on this!

Seems a bit poorly made but that's just a gut reaction. It does what it is supposed to. It has never failed on me nor have I had issues with it. I just seems a bit light in construction.

It's a step up ring, so it doesn't need to do much. My only complaint is that screwing it in, the filters feel, well, dry. It's kind of like fingernails on a chalkboard.
