I ordered this cap, as I don't want to always remove the adapter ring from the lens for time saving. All I want is to remove the cap, put on the P holder and the filter and done.
The problem with this cap (as well as with the P wide adapter) is that they are poorly made. A LOT of very sharp edges and even burrs. Unacceptable for a hand-opperated product, not to say, what should be a fine piece of photo equipment. Also, is loose. And it is loose on their own ring adapters. It's like they're made in different countries!
They proudly stamp "Made in France", but they should stop doing that. It's cheap, nothing to say, but I'd pay a dollar more, and have it done well.
Or maybe the Quality Manager at Cokin is an overly underpaid person......who knows?
In my oppinion, Cokin knows they are the only with this kind of (patented) products, and that a photographer doesn't have many options to choose.
Yes, I would reccomend this to a friend, but with caution, and only because the Cokin system it's one of a kind.
