This is my second Cokin Filter Holder - Z Series. I broke one of the lower retaining pins on the first one when all 220 pounds of me landed on it after slipping in the snow. I am amazed that all that was broken was a pin.
I use the Cokin system for landscape and rural photography. The polarizer is always in the holder along with one of the ND filters, and occasionally a warming filter. This system and a good tripod enables me to create wonderful HDR pieces.

A very nice addition to the photographers arsenal. I bought this to use with split ND filters for beach and waterfall photos. Works great and I had no problems with it.

I purchased the Cokin filter mount for using the graduated ND filter and to be able to buy one filter and use it over multiple lenses. If you're doing landscape or outdoor portraits a graduated ND filter helps to lower the dynamic range between your highest highlights and your lowest shadows allowing you to capture more detail. I'm happy with the purchase although I should have checked out the prices of the polarizing filter for it first. OUCH!
