I had my doubts when I ordered this inexpensive filter set. However, when I checked the images with Photoshop CS3 after I used the UV filter on my Sigma 10-20 mm lens and found there is no degrading at all. I am very satisfied with it.

I try to avoid using filters (not to place even expensive filter in front of the lens) and for Tokina Ultra-Wide lens even polarizer can create unwanted artifacts. But because glass on this lens is too close to the edge I decided to have UV. So for this price I could have 3 and a holding case.

Though the polarizer can have a smoother color/shade transition as you turn it, it does its job. The UV protector is a must if you go commando with your lens (brave soul!) - that itself is a reason to buy this pack. The flourescent daylight filter is, IMHO, totally useless. more cumbersome than anything, putting it on and off. Cant you simply use the in-camera WB adjustments? But thats just me - im sure someone else can exploit it for novelty uses.
But for what you pay for, this is a bargain.
