Comments about Hoya Hoya 58mm Digital Filter Kit with 3 Filters & Pouch:

well, i guess it is true that you get what you pay for. I decided to try this kit even though i have heard that quality filters cost a decent amount, but i thought this would be a good starting point to at least get my feet wet. After two kits, with defective filters (first one had one, second one had all three) i decided to get a [...] single CirPL high quality filter.I honestly cant tell if the filter effect is worth the money, since i never got to try any of them. In both cases the faulty filters had the "rubber" seal loose and i didnt dare putting it on my lens, since i was afraid the glass would fall out. So while i am certainly not giving up on hoya, I am definitely giving up on the low end filters. The build construction/quality is just not good enough for me to feel comfortable using them.
