Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 37mm Photo Essentials Three Filter Kit, UV, Polarizer & 812.:

What I got was junk and may have been a returned item. I bought this on the recommendation of the Adorama sales rep. The glass was dirty. The CPL has tool marks and a scratch on the retaining ring and is very loose with too much slop in the rotating filter ring. Glass on the polarizer appears OK and works fine. You can see the rough edge of the filter glass on the UV filter which means this will cause significant flare when using the flash -- it's no good if I have to remove it every time I want to use the camera flash. Like the other reviewer said -- save your money. For [$] bucks it's not worth my time/effort returning it..sigh.

polarizer didnt change much, build is good and if you are pickier than me you might want the extra lenses, otherwise save your money and just get the uv only for protection. note it does stick out and leaving the filter on leaves it subject to scratch while the sr11 12 has auto lense closure on it already. but it does protect while shooting.
