The filters in this set are well made and have a quality feel. The circular polarizer rotates smoothly but has enough drag to stay put. They were just what I needed for my new lens. It is a good buy for the money and I am quite satisfied.

I purchased this same item for the same low price from another seller online, and got a used open-box product with one of the lens filters cracked. I had a horrible time trying to deal with the seller to resolve the issue quickly and amicably. The seller got defensive and immediately blamed me for the broken filter. What a nightmare! So when I needed to replace the defective filters quickly for an overseas trip, I contacted Adorama and asked plenty of questions before buying. The responses came quickly (within 24 hrs, most on the same day). I told them what happened, and Adorama assured me that I would not have the same experience with them. Boy were they ever right![...]And the main reason that from now on I will be doing much more of my camera business with Adorama. I quickly learned my lesson that a low price doesn't necessarily translate into a great deal. Not only is the quality of the product important, but also the quality of the cusotmer service. Here I receive both. And I'm willing to pay a little extra for that reassurance. Adorama has my loyalty!

The UV filter is great basic protection. The polarizer filter worked great on hikes in the Rockies to create dramatic deep blue sky/high contrast cloud effects and get rid of some of the atmospheric haze. Take the time to learn how it works before you need it ;>).

I bought this as a first filter kit. I am a budding, yet enthusiastic photographer. I love the uv filter and leave it on my camera, the polarizer and the warming filter are great ways to make me look more like a professional photographer.

This set is very good value. It allows the photographer to experiment with filters without making a substantial investment. The UV filter is a must to protect your lens from damage - it's photography 101 and should not be disregarded. The filters will be of sufficient quality for most photographers - if you're a pro landscape photographer you wouldn't be looking here.Other reviewers have stated their filters have fallen off ... impossible. Only if you do not screw it on properly would that happen. They are easy to install - just practice before going out on a shoot. The 812 warming filter is a nice touch - try for yourself. It'll warm up stark (blue) daylight and give nice healthy skin tone to your portraits.The circ polarizer (although used mostly to darken skies and remove reflection) is great to experiment with and add a little weight wherever you wish on your subject - just spin it around and take several test shots. Combine the polarizer and the 812 and you enhance your shot more ...It's digital - photos are free! Experiment.The case is nice - I further wrap my filters in lens cleaning paper to make sure they're clear when I go to use them.A no-brainer for the cost - a very good value.[...]

You pretty much need these, and this is a decent kit for the price. The UV is for basic lens protection, and the Polarizing is great for shooting outdoors, especially around water, or where there are lots of reflections potentially. Since you're gonna get the filters anyway, this kit is a great way to get what you need, and get the handy case, which is a great way to store the filters you aren't using at the time.

I wanted to get a good quality starter kit but I was on a limited budget. After reading reviews and online information, I decided on the Tiffen kit, and I never regretted my decision. I especially love the circular polarizer with my landscapes. They say pictures would always boil down to how good the photographer is, but in more ways than one, I am getting better results after I started using these filters.

The filters do an OK job. I was a bit disappointed with the circular polarizing filter, as it wasn't as dark as I had hoped and the effect is minimal. Mostly useful for removing reflections and not for getting more saturated sky blues, etc. Also, with a telephoto lens, the edges/corners of the image are noticeably darker than the center.

Loved it. My outside pictures are coming out so much better than before. Before there was a orange yellow color to face shots , but now the skin tone is more to its natural color...............truley won't take a picture outside again without it on.
