I'm new to using filters, so in my opinion this kit is excellent for beginners. My son is multiracial so his skin tone is usually washed out in pictures. The 812 filter helped us correct that problem, which was the main reason for our purchase. The other filters have also produced desireable results when used, and I find it nice to be able to leave the U/V protector on full time to help prevent damage to the lense.

For those who are new to photography a filter on a lens in a must. I always protect with a filter. To everyone else there is not much to tell. These are what you would expect, no more, no less.

This is a bargain and works well. the con i list is on the (overly) large carry case they include. Enough room for 6 filters so I guess its supposed to entice me to get more filters, but the product has the three I wanted and I really appreciate how the circle polarizer does not impact colors, just reduces glare. Its a great value.

I found that these tiffen filters are very well made and give a consistent affect on my photos.
