I guess the first thing I noticed after receiving my order for the Tiffen filter kit was that the filters were very dirty and were in a desperate need of cleaning. When I received my order I did not expect to take the filters right out of the box, mount them on the camera, and start shooting pictures but I also did not expected them to be that dirty. The second thing I noticed was that the ring on the circular polarizer was hard to rotate. It does work but I need to be careful so as not to back the filter off the lens while adjusting the polarizer. I don't know what is wrong with the polarizer but I will just live with it as it is not worth the trouble to ship it back and get an exchange. [...]

This is a great starting set of filters for your camera. The polarizing and UV filters work beautifully, and the clear provides excellent lens protection. I haven't had a chance to try the enhancing filter yet. Tiffen's always been a quality filter for cameras I've owned over the years.

I enjoy using the 812 Warming filter, I find it effective for adding a nice touch to photos that would normally have a blue/green tint. The Enhancing filter is quite useful for adding an extra punch of red to photographs such as fall foliage.
