Returned two defective sets. One set was returned [...] because a filter had a speckel. The second set was returned to Tiffen because three of the filters from the replacement set had spots. I told Tiffen to send me a 67mm size filter kit because I had already purchased a 62mm filter in the Hoya brand. One of the 67mm filters also came with a speckle. I am tired of returning the product. I am keeping the 67mm filter kit but never purchasing Tiffen again.
The filter made Mt. Ranier and the blue sky in Seattle better than ever.
Logged into[...]to buy Hoya's was talked into Tiffen. Wanted just polarizers but talked into buying the Tiffen Digital Enhancing set. I got a great deal on the Tiffen sets but vs. just buying polarizers for each lens cost allot more. I really only use the clear and polarizers out of the set (as photoshop does any special effect I want) I have since read mixed reviews. Who's better Tiffen or Hoya, my guess is they are both excellent for prosumer products. The question is it the higher margin or quality that is being pushed, who knows. My suggestion is research, find the filter you want, then make an informed decision. But the Tiffen set is nice, great wallet for storing and keeping organized.
