Indeed, no vignetting due to filter, but so thin, there is no way a lens cap that would normally fit to a thread can hold. Makes these filters very impractical. [...]

This is a set with fair optics. My preference, after purchasing this set, is to spend a little more to get better and more consistent results. The lens protection is the only truly satisfactory part of the set. The circular polorizer, which I use quite frequently, is just average or even a little inferior. The results around the edges in my 11 mm to 13 mm shots shows distortion.

Beware wide filters w/no front threads!
