The lens was defective. Had spots on the glass and had to return. I saw this on another review but purchased anyway. Should have listened.

This filter truly effects on the bright day. Especially when the Sky and the ground has strong light differences. But to see its construction lens itself keep losing inside of the inner barrel so which makes the filter pretty lousy. So again I have to readjust the lens in the barrel ring and besides, like this graduated filter once it has stain on the lens it is really hard to get rid of it... I would say this filter is imperfect. I'm sure The tiffen would make better than this... so disappointing.
