Graduated neutral density filters are vital to good landscape photography and great for sunrises and sunsets, too. I have used Tiffen filters for years and always have found them to be of consistently excellent quality.

Maybe not the best filter out there, but perfect for me and my Nikon D200. Works great on a washed-out sky. Slight vignetting with my 18-200mm, very minor. Absolutely met my expectations.
