If you are looking to buy this filter, you know what it is capable of. It is relatively easy to use and is extremely strong. Note that it will make your photos a little warmer than an equivalent expose without the filter. I like this effect.

This is a fun filter. I use it to get 3-5 minute exposures in bright daylight to get smooth water or streaking clouds. The two problems I had were minor. One, you can't focus because it's too dark (I knew that when getting it), the only downside of that is having to unscrew it, focus, and rescrew it. Second is I didn't know I cannot set my own white balance without getting a color cast. Needs to be in Auto WB to not get a color cast. Glad I shoot in RAW. Other then those two minor problems, I get great fun images from this filter. Definitely worth the money.

If you want to take Long Exposure shots during the day, this could be one of your option. It may not be a multi coated filter, but it does its job.

I have used ND filters for water and sky images for years, and the B&W filters are simply the best! Helps avoid small apertures, which lead to quality loss due to diffraction.
