As noted before, the threads on the mount are not smooth and they bind when screwing on. Be very careful not to jam the threads. If you plan to put this filter on and off your lens often you should consider a more expensive manufacturer with better threads. Good value if you don't use it often. Conditional recommendation

Couldn't wait to get to a waterfall and try this out. It worked great and gave the milky,silky look to the falls, rocks were in sharp focus.

I use this to elongate long exposures. It does as it is supposed to do, my only concern is the thread is a bit tricky to get and must be careful not to cross thread.
