Comments about B + W B + W 67mm Circular Polarizer Multi Coated Glass Filter:
The B+W c-pol filter seems slightly brighter than other less-expensive polarizers but I'd like it if it were even brighter than it is. Because it reduces light by ~2.5 stops and increases contrast it sometimes causes my Nikon D80 to error slightly in auto focusing. But the error is very small and I can easily work around it when I shoot stationary subjects.
Construction and finish are much better than with other brands. The B+W metal rings screw onto and off of lenses more smoothly and never get stuck, as has happened to my filters made with anodized aluminum rings. I DON'T screw the filters together too tightly, either!
