This was a great piece of glass and the circular function worked very well. The desired polarization affect was easily attainable and greatly benefited my images.
However,
After one month of use today it simply broke. While I was turning it, it broke into the rear where it screws on to filter rings, some type of wire ring and the actual glass. Before this it felt very loose and shaky when rotatated.
It is now completely useless.
Good glass but felt like it was a very poorly built product.

This filter is slightly less "polarizing" than a linear filter, but that is not necessarily such a bad thing - a linear filter might cut reflections too dramatically, but it's a matter of taste...also, it makes life "easier" with a DSLR - I have tested a linear filter on my Nikon and although it works, it forces the camera to overexpose somewhat. I can adjust this in software, or with a bit of exposure adjustment when taking pict though.

Great for making colors, especially blue hues, stand out in your photos. The saturation is just right, though it takes some getting used to at first.
