This is a solid polarizing filter. When the occasion arrises for a polarizer, this is my go to filter. It cuts the glare nicely and gets allows for sharp shots.

Using this filter for the first time, I actually used it for outside shots, which produced some overexposed photos. But it worked fine for inside shots and I would definitely recommend it.

The filter is extremely important in any outdoor (and some indoor) photography. It enhances the color of the sky, making the clouds stand out. It removes the dark shadows from tree tops and makes them look greener and have less contrast. It is an essential tool to turn simple photos great. Of course the exposure is reduced by two stops, but that cannot be helped.
With this filter, the only problem I had was that it was very difficult to remove. If I tighten it well while mounting, it is almost impossible to remove, as most of the time, the front rotating element moves and the filter stays in place. There is not much grip on the fixed part to help to remove it. If I mount it loosely, it tends to come out when I rotate the front element during shooting. It all, not very helpful in fast shooting conditions.

Recently used the filter in National Forest near Estes Park, very pleased with the performance on landscape photos.
