Having a polarizing filter in the bag has been a great comfort to me through the years. My biggest problem with these filters is that sometimes I forget to take them off! They are indespensible when shooting at the ocean or pool to reduce reflections, and they can create dramatic skies if used at the proper time of day. With a 24mm lens, I have to be careful with vignetting. This filter is wider that some I have had in the past which can cause problems if you are not careful.

I purchased this with a Canon EF 300MM f/4.0 IS lens. The filter is a great complement to a very good lens. For outdoors shot, this lens is a must.

Also purchased the 77mm UV Multi coated glass filter at the same time and both filters are excellent.
BTW: Just a word about ADORAMA they continue to provide the best online shopping experience. :)
