Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
It is a must to own. My wife let me get it for my birthday. I've had only a few occasions to use it, but it has proven it's worth.
Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
this cpl is very slim. When using it properly, most of the reflections can be deleted. Especially when you shotting clouds and rivers, more detailed can be obtained by using this CPL. I am happy to get it.
Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
Amazing how deep the sky and clouds can look. Very cool to see the reflection off water just disappear. Also minimizes the reflection off cars.
You do need to stop down, which can present problems depending on the shot/light. But that would be the same with any polarizing filter.
I carry this filter everywhere with me.
Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
A must have item for full sun situations, strengthens color
and improves contrast. I would give the filter a 5-star rating for
its product quality and results in use, but only 3-stars for its
cost relative to other polarizing filters as I have another polarizing
filter that works every bit as well but costs 20% less.

Clear, thin, and a great protector for your lens.

Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
Being relatively new to the world of DSLRs, one of the things I was into was taking pics of cars. Doing research on the How To of Car Photography, it was recommended having a circular polarizer. Pics before the filter and after are night and day.

Works great when taking landscapes with Nikkor 35mm f/1.8.

I like this filter, even though it's a bit pricey. I've taken 50 or so photos with it and have been really impressed with the results. So, it was money well spent. This filter is solid and easy to clean.

Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
Bought this filter after spending days agonizing over which polarizing filter to buy and where to buy it. I'm really glad I gave Adorama a try. Very professional salesperson, didn't try to sell me more stuff to pad the order. Friendly, quick process. The order got all the way to me in Washington state in only a few days.
As for the filter, it came down to economics and my personal level of sophistication with all things photographic. I love taking photos, trying to be artsy while doing it and I love using technology to manipulate my pictures to make them better using Photoshop. I do like how the filter makes otherwise dull skies pop and water seem more translucent. I am sure there will be many more opportunities for me, through experimentation and reading how others use this filter, to make my photos even better.

Comments about Nikon Nikon 52mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
I am using this filter on a Nikon D50 with the kit lenses, 18-55 and 55-200 and a 50mm 1.8. Happily the same filter fits all three.
Have used it only a few days and have yet to really stress it with shots into sun over water or snow. I will follow-up on those aspects after such use and some examples of the filter in action.
At first, its fine construction made it seem fragile, but that feeling has not persisted. It is well made, rotates smoothly and holds its setting with camera movement.
Easy to "fine tune" the effect both for glare and enhancing color. Will have to accumulate many shots to know whether to change the camera's color management settings, but so far on the computer screen, they seem to work well at default. Also have not attempted to manipulate any shots with PS Elements but forsee no problems there.
I consider this filter to be an essential addition to my equipment, a good value and look forward to many happy uses.
