When I ordered this filter I was not sure that it was going to be a Tiffen I just read that it was an Adorama Circular Polarizer. When it showed up being high quality Tiffen Glass (The preferred of many professionals like Ken Rockwell) I was excited. By far the best bang for my buck.

For the price this is a fine polarizer that does the basic job of adding punch to the sky and reducing glare on water and foliage. Certainly not top notch optics, but for ordinary use it's great.

I take a lot of pictures outdoors, particularly of animals, children, and at the beach. This polarizer improves my ability to reduce the glare of and reflections on the ocean, as well as to increase saturation of all colors.
