I originally bought a UV filter for 11 bucks, and after thinking that I paid over 200 dollars for a Canon lens, I realized that my lens is only going to be as good as my filter. I decided to return the filter and buy this brand from Adorama. I am very pleased with it, and there is absolutely no degradation of the images.

Great Filter company. Their filters tend to be expensive but when I spend $$$ on top of the line Canon L lens's, it doesn't make sense to put a cheap [$] filter on them that will effect the image quality.

I have grown fond of B+W filters and this is no exception. It affords good protection, filters haze and my shots on my Mamyia 645 E turn are sharp.
