I just purchased two B+W filters for my Nikon and Nikon lens. German optics is imo absolutely the best there is. [...]This was my third purchase and will not be my last.Adorama gets 5 stars for all the reasons stated above. Buy from them. I know I will again.

I used these filters for general protection and weather sealing. I also use the 77mm version and they are wonderful. The glass is clear, fingerprints wipe off with a simple microfiber cloth, and water just beads up and is easily removed.

This filter is used on a very expensive Zeiss lens. I would not trust anything less on such a quality lens. Don't skimp on filters. B+W filters are very quality filters that provide protection without sacrificing image quality. Very easy to clean as well.

I have a B&W on all my lenses. I'm not a pro, but a filter is a must from my limited experience with SLR lenses. If you happen to have a nice lens, try this filter for UV and general protection, and you will not be disappointed. It's a bit expensive, but I've seen the cheap filters, and this seems much better built and does not seem to alter the image in a bad way. It also cleans very well with the lens pen.

Didn't realize how much difference filter quality makes until I compared this to my existing filter! No more glare, and the images are sharper. Less light loss. Lower profile and excellent quality.

I've invested in my lenses and not only do I want to protect them I wanted to make sure what I put in front of that Canon L glass lens wasn't going to undermine that investment. I've replaced all my UV filters with B&W filters -- multi-coated -- along with their Circular Polarizers. B&W filters offer top notch optics, construction and performance. A winning combination in my book.
